Major Change

I decided to consolidate my domain names — I have way too many! — and get rid of my other internet marketing domain. I have moved my blog back to KeciaHambrick.com where it will *hopefully* stay for good. I will be talking less about my personal goals, what I’m doing, etc, and focusing more on providing quality, helpful content for my readers. There will still be some personal work related stuff in there, but I also want my blog to help others get their start in internet marketing.

Because I started out as a freelance writer, I also want to help current freelancers develop passive income streams so they can stop working for upfront pay. My own goal is to completely replace my freelancing income with my PLR store, my niche sites, and other internet marketing ventures. The switch can be long and difficult, but the rewards are worth it!  I also want to help those that are getting started, whether they want to become a writer, marketer, or both!

If you would like to be updated when I post a new blog, sign up in my sidebar. You will also receive a free report on getting your start in internet marketing. It’s written for those that have never or are just beginning to hear about making money online, but I’m sure others can learn from it as well!

Turning Over a New Leaf

I haven’t spend any time on this blog in a while, but I need something to make me more accountable. I have been thinking about my online goals for 2011, and I need a place to be more accountable. A lot of people have blogs in which they post their plans and earnings so they can see how well they are doing with the online business. I have not been doing this, but I think it would help me tremendously.

Therefore, I moved my blog from my writing portfolio site to its own domain so that it would be more of a stand alone blog. With it, I will be mapping out what I want to do in the new year and how I plan to get there. Each month, I will update my earnings page and make a post talking about the previous month, including the good and bad of my business. I think by putting this information in black and white, I’ll be able to know how to go about my online journey the following month.

As you can see from previous posts, I’m currently a freelance writer. I hope to make the transition to passive income so that I will have more time to spend with my family and friends. If you have a blog similar to mine, please leave a comment so that I can check it out. I look forward to making new friends who work online and are working towards building a nice passive income.

Fresh Start

When redoing the site, I considered scraping everything I had and starting anew. However, I have over a year of content on here, and someone may find my older posts beneficial to them in some way. Therefore, I decided just to leave everything and just move forward. The site will now feature internet marketing advice as well as that of freelance writing. I am gradually making the shift from writing for others to writing solely for myself. I’ll pass along any good information and products I find to help me along the way, in order to help you get started or progress in your ventures of writing, marketing, or both!

The site still needs a little work, such as re-categorizing the posts, but I really had to get it out of maintenance mode. Expect a few more changes and some new stuff added in the next few days. I’m ready to use this site to it’s full extent rather than letting it collect virtual dust!

I’m Baaaaack!

After a long hiatus from working at home, I am about to jump back into the game. My husband and I are tired of living off one income while I go to school full time, so I am going to attempt earning some money again. I’d love to set up some residual income so that eventually, I’d have enough coming in that I could focus on whatever I chose to do. At this point, however, I feel like I am still on info overload from all my previous attempts at building up passive income. I’m not even sure where to begin! Feel free to suggest any good places to start.

I hope to revive this blog by filling it with passages of my journey in making money online. The best way for those working at home to advance is through the trials and tribulations of others, so I hope to lay it out all there for my readers. Hopefully, I can continue to work at home when my husband and I have children, so that I can spend more time with them and not have to pay day care costs.
