Making My PLR Dreams Come True

For a while I have wanted to get started with selling PLR content, but I was never sure how to go about getting started. This uncertainty held be back. I knew if I took the time away from freelancing to start another venture, I had to know what I was doing in order to be successful. With upfront work and a newborn, I don’t really  have much time to invest in something that I don’t understand/know how to do. That was before Tiffany Dow released PLR ATM. In this ebook/video product, she walks you step-by-step through the process of setting up a PLR store, creating  content, getting traffic, and making sales. It was exactly the type of guide I needed to fulfill my desire to sell PLR.

As of today, I have my own PLR store, SuperPLRContent.com, up and running. Right now, it only has a couple of PLR article packs on it, but I plan to slowly build it up by adding more products each week. I hope to get to where my PLR store can become my full time job, and I have the option to freelance as a part time gig. I will update in the future to let everyone know my progress as I test out some special offer techniques and add more PLR packs.

If you are looking for ways to start working for yourself or to build residual income, you should check out PLR ATM. I actually did an extensive review on the product, which can be found here: My PLR ATM Review.

Associated Content – Upfront Pay Plus Residual Income

I have been looking for a place to start submitting articles for residual income. I was using eHow, but this the recent changes regarding that site, I don’t really want to go through the Demand Studios hassle to earn a few extra bucks a month. I want a stress-free place where I can submit what I wish. Therefore, I chose Associated Content.

With Associated Content, you can submit original content for an upfront payment, as well as residual income. The passive income results from page views, which I have heard means you are more in control of your earnings. You can promote your content and get views, but with the way most places offer revenue from ad clicks, how can you make someone read your article AND click on a nearby ad?? To me, I think it will be easier to get page views. My first article with AC was approved this week. Here is is, if you would like to take a look:

Bad Breath Treatment

The only downside to AC I have noticed so far is the slow review times. It takes longer for an article to be reviewed if you are requiring an upfront offer as well as residual income. However, once I start submitting on a regular basis, my articles will be approved more regularly.

Switching Gears for a Bit – Going for Residual Income

I’m going to be taking a different route the next month or so of working online. I will be in college for the next 5 weeks, taking 2 classes. This will put me at school most of the day, Monday-Thursday, and have me doing homework on the weekends. This will leave little time to work on creating niche sites or meeting deadlines for writing clients.

Therefore, I am going to join a couple of residual income writing sites, and try my hand at those. Previously, I’ve only written for eHow, but now that it’s with Demand Studios, I believe it’s harder to get articles approved. I’m going to look into that, but I am also going to start submitting at Infobarrel and possibly Associated Content. I’ll be submitting sparingly, but hopefully it will start to add up. If I like what I see within in the next few weeks, I may continue writing for these sites or go back to solely working on niche sites and writing for clients. Either way, this will be another income stream…because it’s never a good idea to put all your eggs in one basket!

The D.A.M. Way by PotPieGirl

Not sure if you have heard of Jennifer (aka PotPieGirl), but she’s a lady from Georgia who makes a living from full time internet marketing. She began her journey using free methods to sell affiliate products, and now has a few products of her own. She has recently developed a free system called The D.A.M. Way, which stands for “Direct Article Marketing.” If you are currently writing articles for clients and residual income sites such as eHow and Suite 101, The D.A.M. way can be a easier way to passive income for you.

In The D.A.M. Way, Jennifer shows you how to create articles to drive traffic to affiliate products. This can be done by direct linking to the affiliate’s salespage with a special link that will give you commissions on each sale. As you scale it up, you are shown how to create your own web presence through Web 2.0 sites (Squidoo, Hubpages, etc) or with your own site. Don’t think it’s too difficult to get into this, as Jennifer has it outlined in a step by step format. As long as you can write articles (which I assume you can if you are a freelance writer or someone looking to get started), then you can use The D.A.M. Way to make money.

The concept, and the reason behind the name, of The D.A.M. Way is similar to that of a beaver building a dam to protect his home and collect food. Just as a beaver uses one stick at a time to build a dam, you will create one article at a time to building an online affiliate business.
