Welcome to my personal website! My name is Kecia Hambrick, and the mug shot to the left is mine! I am 27 years old, born and raised in Georgia. I am married to a wonderful man, and we have a one year old little boy named Sawyer. I have always enjoyed writing and began doing it as a part time occupation in June 2007. Then, I was mainly doing sponsored posts on my personal blogs for additional income with my outside the home job.
In 2008, I discovered that companies and clients needed freelance writers to create content for their websites, and began offering this service on job bidding sites such as Scriptlance.com and Elance.com. Once I began earning enough to supplement my husband’s income, I quit my job to become a full time freelance writer in March 2008 while also attending college for Early Childhood Education.
In 2010, I began making the switch to a more passive income. I wanted to spend less time at my computer and more with my son, who was born in September 2010. I was starting to hate working for others, and knew it was time to invest in myself. That is when I decided to also become a PLR provider. I am currently still offering my writing services, but I am also working on completely replacing my upfront paying ventures with passive income in the near future.
In the past four years of working online, I have come a long way…and I am still learning new things everyday. I enjoy sharing my knowledge as well as failures with others that have less experience or don’t know certain tricks and strategies that I have picked up on my own journey. I am not exactly where I want to be with my online revenue, but it has definitely increased since those days of blogging in ’07. I’d like to share what I have learned with others that are tired of fattening marketer’s wallets when they could be utilizing the content for their own residual income. I also like connecting with brand new marketers seeking to make money online.
I promise to provide you with quality information, only suggest techniques and products I that I have personally used in my own business, and be there to assist you in any way I can.
Over the course of working online, I have learned that you have to worry more about giving than earning. That’s what I do on my blog here. I will be honest that I do include affiliate links every now and then, but they are only for products that I have reviewed myself. I don’t base my recommendations on reviews done by other marketers or just to be nice to a product owner seeking a promotion. To me, that is unethical and something I couldn’t do and still sleep well at night.
